Your emergency application with the supporting documents should be sent to the Immigration team via the asylum out of hours e-mail address: asylum-out-of-hours@justice.gov.uk.
- The Immigration team notify the provider via e-mail of their decision and allocate a reference number, e.g. OOH/000001.
- The provider should then upload the application onto CCMS as soon as possible, quoting the reference number provided by the Immigration team in the Merits assessment.
- Once the application has been submitted, the date granted will be backdated by the LAA to the date of decision authorised under the reference number given by the Immigration team.
- You should then continue the case (i.e. uploading the substantive amendment and means information) on to CCMS and the case continues on CCMS, including all amendments etc.
NOTE: Quoting the reference number on the Merits Report when uploading the application through CCMS allows the LAA to reflect the date of emergency grant on the certificate.
