Accessing the Client and Cost Management System in Secure Browser

This section is for all CCMS users

If you need to use Client and Cost Management System (CCMS) as part of your work, you will now need to access CCMS through a Secure Browser.

The Secure Browser is a safe and secure way to access CCMS.

What you need to do:

  1. Use Sign in to Legal Aid Services to start. 
     
    If you have not done this before, read our guidance to get started. 
     
  1. Once you have signed in, you should see a list of Legal Aid services that you have access to. Select Client and Cost Management System. 
     
    If you can’t see Client and Cost Management System in ‘Your legal aid services’, you will need to ask the administrator at your Legal Firm to give you access to it. 
  1. Select the ‘continue to sign in’ button. This will open a new window with the Secure Browser in. 
  1. You will see a pop up requesting you to allow permissions. You will need to allow this to be able to copy and paste and upload and download files. Please select ‘Allow’. 
  1. You will see a page that prompts you to ‘Sign in’ to use the Secure Browser. Select ‘Sign in’ to continue. You will see a ‘connecting’ loading bar which may take a few moments to complete.  
  1. When prompted, sign in using the same email address and password you use for ‘Sign In to your Legal aid Services’. You will also need to confirm it’s you again, using your preferred multi-factor authentication method.

Once this is complete, you’ll have successfully logged into Client and Cost Management System in the Secure Browser.
